We are a Locally-Owned & Licensed team of Professional Caregivers that happen to be family friends ( Husband, Wife & Lifelong Best friend ).

 

Our Professional Care service team of 3 are Mature, Professional, Experienced and Loyal - all with excellent references readily available for your review.

 

Uniting our talent was inevitable. Today with over 20 years of providing professional care we have earned our reputation and learned from experience: what works and what doesn't.

Simply put: People need a PERSON they can rely on; Not an app or revolving door of visiting assistants. We all need a familiar & friendly face that's always reliable, consistent and professional at every step.

Where / What areas do we service?

Services are available exclusively in South Charlotte & Matthews, NC.

Long-Distance clients with family living in our region are welcome!

 

We currently have clients living at-home and at Windsor Run, The Cypress & Matthews Glen Assisted Living Facilities. Private residences & New facilities in our area are also available.

Each of us are Licensed and Certified for Senior Home Care throughout North Carolina. We've all completed required certifications for NCDHHS, TB Testing's, Pathogen Training, Criminal & Driving Clearances, etc. coupled with collective decades in successful senior care experience.

When are services available?

​

We're a team of 3, however we are available 364 days a year ( Excluding 12/25 ). Flexible AM or PM schedules can be accommodated. 

New client availability may be limited - Waiting List also available.  Call us directly for current openings.

How much does it cost?

​

At FRIEND of the FAMILY we don't want to waste your time. We also understand that different families have different financial options and needs.

Our Caregivers charge a flat-rate of $45/hr. for services.

 

We primarily work with private-pay families and we do not currently accept Medicare/Medicaid or VA Benefit compensation. Contact us directly with further questions.

How does payment work?

​

We invoice clients weekly (at the end of each service week) every Sunday. Payments made after 7-day grace period accrue a 15% late charge. Contact your caregiver directly with any questions or concerns.

 

Your invoice will detail all days, hours and services provided. Receipt available immediately after payment confirmation.

​

Payments are preferred via Zelle but we also accept other payment options, which may accrue additional fees for processing. (Cash, Check, etc.)

Are there additional fees, startup costs?

​

No.

 

Your initial onsite assessment is free and their is no startup cost.

 

No contract required; you can stop services at anytime however we don't think you will.

You agree to service and we'll begin schedule when you've approved it.

​

You'll pay at the end of each week of service.  That's it.

If your family/patient requires travel or shopping: time is billed at regular hourly rate PLUS mileage ( $ 0.67/mile and/or any caregiver shopping expenses accrued).

Are contracts required?

​

No,

 

Unless you prefer one. We want your business based on our performance.

 

Other larger companies will usually require a 30-day notice of termination- even if you're unhappy with services.

We only want your business if we are truly helping.

What information is needed to begin?

We'll work together to retain your discretion & privacy to get the needed information to provide the most effective schedule of care.

How do we start?

​

Call or schedule a casual FRIEND of the FAMILY assessment with1 of our 3 cares.  We can speak in-person or via Zoom, Teams, etc.  Scheduling a time to meet with you & loved one/patient would be required prior to start of services.

​

After our meetup/assessment, we'll work together to find the most efficient and successful level of care that your family specifically needs.

What is the assessment?

​

We pride ourselves on Professional Discretion.

 

Sometimes our loves ones don't necessarily want help, even when they may need it.

​

Our free assessment is setup on your schedule and time. We can make a casual meet-up just to see if our family member is a good fit for you and yours. 

 

Our services will remain private and confidential. We understand discretion for all of our friends and clients that hold their pride and independence close.

Luckily, all of our clients and patients thus far have grown very fond of our close-knit team.
